Model of work: hybrid (3 days work from office Gdańsk/ Gdynia/ Warsaw/ Łódź)

Type of contract: B2B, long-term cooperations

Rate: up to 155 PLN nett + vat/ hour

Summary: The QA Lead will spearhead quality assurance initiatives within a large project, specifically focusing on the home journey for customers in the Nordics, ensuring robust testing practices across multiple teams and geographical locations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leading the QA effort within the Agile Release Train (ART).

  • Coordinating all testing types and levels per internal processes.

  • Planning and executing QA and test management across functional and non-functional testing.

  • Overseeing QA activities particularly in integration and end-to-end testing involving multiple Scrum teams.

  • Driving continuous improvement and implementing best practices.

  • Ensuring availability of testing environments and test data.

  • Coaching team members for agility and excellence in deliverables.

  • Communicating effectively with ART leadership and stakeholders.

  • Contributing to release readiness assessments and metrics for quality sign-offs.

  • Managing test scheduling aligned with release and deployment plans.

  • Identifying and solving impediments, risks, and challenges in QA.

  • Increasing test automation KPI and coverage.

  • Aligning testing priorities with various stakeholders including product management and scrum teams.

Key Requirements

  • Financial domain knowledge, preferably in the mortgage area.

  • Over 5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance leadership role.

  • Experience with test management tools and managing diverse testing types.

  • Documented leadership in various projects, ideally in automation environments.

  • Experience with web and API testing, plus automated CI/CD pipelines.

  • Understanding of legacy systems.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Familiarity with project technologies: Java, Kafka, C#, SQL, Weblogic.

  • Experience with QA tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Jira.

Nice to Have

  • Professional experience with Spark and Scala.

  • Background in DevOps concepts.

  • Experience managing tests in a mainframe environment.

  • Location: Poland - Warsaw and Tricity, with 3 days office presence.

  • Language Requirement: English.

  • Project Environment: Agile, with a focus on continuous delivery and improvement.
