Summary
Licensed Vocational Nurse performs quality assurance, infection control, and employee health duties under RN supervision in a healthcare facility.
We are seeking a dedicated, self-motivated, and creative Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our team in a combined Quality Assurance (QA), Infection Control, and Employee Health role. This part-time position reports directly to a Registered Nurse (RN).
Position Summary
Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the LVN will assist with Quality Assurance, Infection Control, and Employee Health responsibilities while providing administrative support for departmental operations. This position also participates in administrative and community health projects and offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, proactive, and able to work independently while managing multiple priorities. We are looking for someone who is creative, motivated, takes initiative, and consistently follows through to complete projects and assignments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with Quality Assurance (QA) activities and performance improvement initiatives.

Support the facility's Infection Prevention and Control program.

Assist with Employee Health services, including maintaining health records and required documentation.

Complete assigned administrative duties and special projects.

Participate in community health initiatives and educational programs.

Maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Communicate effectively with staff, leadership, and outside agencies as needed.

Demonstrate initiative by identifying opportunities for improvement and assisting with the implementation of new processes.

Adapt to changing departmental needs and priorities.

Perform other duties, administrative tasks, projects, and special assignments as directed by the supervising Registered Nurse or leadership team. Responsibilities may evolve based on organizational needs.
