Automation QA Manager - Investment Banking

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Project Manager with strong expertise in Investment Banking and Quality Engineering to lead end-to-end testing engagements across business-critical platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing QA teams, driving automation initiatives, engaging senior stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality delivery across complex programs.

This role requires a combination of QA leadership, project management, test automation expertise, and deep understanding of investment banking processes and applications. Experience with Low-Code/No-Code platforms such as Mendix, Leapwork, and Tricentis Tosca will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end QA delivery for investment banking applications and programs.
• Define and execute test strategies, automation roadmaps, and quality governance frameworks.
• Manage QA teams across multiple projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Drive automation adoption and continuous testing practices to improve efficiency and release quality.
• Collaborate with Business, Product, Development, Architecture, and Operations teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Monitor project risks, dependencies, quality metrics, and release readiness.
• Act as the primary QA point of contact for business stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Provide regular status updates, quality dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
• Support Agile and DevOps practices, integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor and develop QA teams while promoting quality engineering best practices and innovation.

Required Skills & Experience

Quality Engineering & Automation

• 12+ years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, and Automation.
• Strong experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks and test strategies.
• Hands-on understanding of UI, API, Integration, Regression, and End-to-End Testing.
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured, Postman, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of Agile, CI/CD, and modern QA practices.

Investment Banking Domain

• Strong understanding of Investment Banking business processes and systems.
• Experience working across one or more of the following areas:
• Capital Markets
• Equities
• Fixed Income
• Derivatives
• Trade Lifecycle Management
• Risk & Regulatory Reporting
• Asset & Wealth Management
• Settlements and Operations

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Proven experience leading large QA programs and distributed teams.
• Strong project planning, estimation, resource management, and delivery governance skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business users, technology teams, and executive stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and influencing skills.
