QA Manual

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer with extensive experience in software testing and a strong understanding of QA methodologies. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, process-driven, and passionate about delivering high-quality software. This role will require hands-on testing experience, the ability to collaborate with developers and stakeholders, and a mindset for continuous improvement in QA processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute the full software testing lifecycle, ensuring high-quality product delivery​.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for web applications​.
• Perform accessibility testing to ensure compatibility with screen readers and other assistive technologies.
• Perform a variety of testing types, including:
  • Mobile Testing
  • Exploratory Testing
  • API Testing
  • Regression Testing​.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and stakeholders) to identify and resolve software issues​.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT)​.
• Mentor and train junior QA team members to ensure consistent testing practices and knowledge sharing​.
• Maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, bug reports, and QA process improvements​.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software testing​.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in manual software testing, including test execution, defect tracking, and reporting​.
• Strong expertise with Jira, Postman, Confluence, Selenium, Git​.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines.
• Experience validating compatibility with screen readers and assistive technologies.
• Familiarity with keyboard navigation and accessibility best practices.
• Deep understanding of testing methodologies such as:
  • Integration Testing
  • System Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • Exploratory Testing​.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues​.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to detect inconsistencies and errors​.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain defects and testing results to non-technical stakeholders​.

Preferred Qualifications

• ISTQB Foundation Level Certification​.

• Experience working with Postman​.

• Experience with BrowserStack for cross-browser and mobile testing​.
