Summary
Designs, documents, and executes tests for Check Point's networking products and features, owning bugs end-to-end from documentation to fix validation. Core focus on TCP/IP networking and protocols (DNS, HTTP(S), SMTP, FTP, VOIP) across Windows/Linux, with Jira and cloud platforms as supporting tools.
- Test design, test plan development, and step-by-step documentation for new and existing features.
- Execute tests on both existing and in-development Checkpoint products and features.
- High orientation to details and user experience.
- Ability to plan and execute tests for complex features in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of QA testing.
- Self-learning capabilities of new products and technologies.
- End-to-end ownership on bugs found, from documentation to fix validation.
- Maintain a high level of quality according to the Checkpoint Quality Assurance standards.
- Seek continuous education opportunities on new solutions, skills, and technologies to be incorporated in Q.A. testing
- At least 2 years of experience in working with networking, different operating systems (Windows, Linux)
- In-depth knowledge of networking and protocols, including a strong grasp of TCP/IP fundamentals and widely used protocols such as DNS, HTTP(S), SMTP, FTP, and VOIP (SIP, H.323)
- The advantage for applicants with knowledge in Site-to-Site VPN
- The advantage for applicants with knowledge in Dynamic Routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, etc.
- Very good English skills (spoken, written).
- Availability for a full-time position, overtime may be required on occasions.
- Experience and knowledge with performance test tools – Advantage
- Working experience with cloud-based platforms as AWS, Azure, etc. - Advantage
- Familiarity with network security testing methodologies
- Familiar with Jira
- Familiar with scripting or programming - Advantage
