QA Officer

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a QA Officer, you will be at the forefront of our product integrity and quality initiatives, supporting analytical testing, qualification activities, and continuous improvement programs. You will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality products while advancing safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. In this role, you will:

  • Perform day-to-day Quality Assurance laboratory testing activities.
  • Support calibration of analytical instruments and standardization of volumetric solutions.
  • Prepare and support local and global product qualification reporting.
  • Contribute to Integrated Management System initiatives focused on reliability, efficiency, product quality, safety, and cost optimization.
  • Monitor analytical testing precision and performance.
  • Manage nonconformance reporting through internal systems.
  • Support maintenance and readiness of analytical instruments.
  • Assist in customer complaint investigations through analytical testing.
  • Promote workplace organization and 5S practices.
  • Support Health, Safety, and Environment goals aligned to Zero Harm and Zero Injury.

Required Qualifications that Enable Your Success

  • Post Graduate degree in Chemistry from a recognized university.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in testing lubricants, additives, chemicals, or related products, preferably within a multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of analytical testing instruments, wet analysis, and laboratory blending or synthesis.
  • Hands-on experience with ICP, FTIR, viscometers, and auto titrators.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective English communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP Quality Management (QM) module.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and support operational requirements.
  • Experience with workplace management systems such as 5S.
  • Result orientation, planning capability, customer focus, decision-making, and open communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Drive You Forward

  • Experience supporting product qualification activities in a global environment.
  • Exposure to Integrated Management Systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Previous experience working with external laboratory service providers and suppliers.
