Summary
Oversee electrical system quality by inspecting installations, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with Singapore standards and project specifications.
- Implement and monitor the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) system for electrical works.
- Inspect and verify installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure compliance with design drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Prepare, review, and maintain QA/QC documentation such as Inspection Test Plans (ITP), checklists, material approval, test reports, and non-conformance reports (NCR).
- Coordinate with the main contractor, consultants, and clients on all quality-related matters.
- Conduct site inspections and internal audits to verify workmanship and material quality.
- Assist in testing & commissioning (T&C) works and ensure records are properly maintained.
- Ensure all works comply with BCA, EMA, and Singapore Standards.
- Provide quality training and awareness to site teams when required.
Job Requirements
- Relevant QA/QC or ISO 9001 training / certification will be an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in electrical or M&E construction projects.
- Experience with QA/QC systems, documentation, and inspection procedures is essential.
- Prior experience in BCA-registered electrical works projects is preferred.
