QA/QC Engineer

Summary

Ensures oil & gas projects meet quality standards by inspecting materials, welding, piping, and mechanical work; manages documentation, NDT, and compliance with industry codes like ASME/API/ISO.

We are seeking a QA/QC Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring all project materials, fabrication, welding, piping, and mechanical activities meet approved quality standards, client specifications, and international codes within Oil & Gas projects. Handles inspections, documentation, NDT coordination, NCR management, and quality compliance throughout project execution.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections for piping, structural, mechanical, and fabrication works.
  • Review material certificates, welding records, and NDT reports.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications and approved procedures.
  • Raise NCRs and monitor corrective actions.
  • Maintain QA/QC reports and handover dossiers.
  • Coordinate with site teams, clients, and inspectors during project execution.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as QA/QC Engineer in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Valid NDT Level II Certification (RT / UT / MT / PT preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, welding inspections, material inspections, and fabrication standards.
  • Familiarity with ASME, API, ASTM, ISO standards.
  • Experience in ITP preparation, WPS/PQR review, NCR handling, and quality documentation.
  • Ability to coordinate inspections with clients and third-party inspectors.
