QA/QC Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
•Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan, ITP, inspection procedures and QA/QC documentation
• Review subcontractor/supplier QA/QC submissions, including Method Statements, ITPs, inspection records and material documentation.
• Coordinate and conduct material receiving, installation and quality inspections with the project team, subcontractors and client.
• Monitor site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, Method Statements and project quality requirements.
• Coordinate required inspections, testing and commissioning activities with relevant parties.
• Identify, record and follow up on NCRs, defects, punch-list items and corrective actions until closure.
• Maintain project quality records, inspection reports, test reports and handover dossiers.
• Participate in client / consultant inspections and resolve quality-related comments.
• Conduct regular site quality audits and monitor subcontractor compliance.
• Support project teams in identifying potential quality risks and implementing preventive actions.
• Ensure all QA/QC documentation is properly completed and available for project handover and final acceptance
• Prepare regular QA/QC status reports and update Project Manager on outstanding quality issues.
Technical Skills:
• Good understanding of QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP),Method Statements and inspection checklists
• Knowledge of piping, equipment installation, welding, fabrication and testing/inspection requirements
• Familiar with material receiving inspection, installation inspection, testing, punch-list management and final inspection.
• Able to review drawings, specifications, P&IDs and relevant technical documents.
• Familiar with NCR, corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), quality record sand handover documentation
• Good documentation and report-writing skills.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and project quality management systems.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with document-control / QAQC systems is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills with project teams and subcontractors.
Job Requirements:
•Diploma / Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline.
• Relevant QA/QC or inspection certifications will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / quality management systems is preferred.
•Preferably 3–5 years of QA/QC experience in engineering, construction, semiconductor, chemical, MEP, or industrial projects.
• Experience in chemical delivery systems, chemical/ gas process piping, equipment installation, fabrication or utility systems is an advantage.
• Experience working with semiconductor / cleanroom projects and major clients such as Micron, GlobalFoundries, VSMC, etc. will be an advantage.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants andclients on quality matters.
• Able to manage QA/QC documentation independently from project execution through completion and handover.
