Job Description

- Working Location: Tampines (Site-based)
- Working Hours: 5 Days, Mon – Thu (8am – 6pm), Fri (8am – 5pm)
- Salary Package: Basic Salary + Meal & Transport Allowance + Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Project Quality Control Plans (QCPs), defining inspection points, testing methods, and acceptance criteria for piping projects.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documents to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Oversee quality control activities across all project stages, including material procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of piping materials and components to ensure conformity with approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate and supervise Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities, including RT, UT, PT, and MT.
- Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing to verify piping system integrity and leak-tightness.
- Perform incoming material inspections, review certificates, and ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials.
- Evaluate welding procedures, welder qualifications, and inspect welded joints, including radiographic examinations, to ensure weld quality.
- Maintain inspection records and prepare detailed quality reports covering findings, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and project management teams to address quality-related concerns and provide technical guidance.
- Liaise with project teams and stakeholders to resolve quality issues, ensure compliance with ASME B31.3, API 570, and other relevant standards, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 1-2 years of related experience.
- Knowledge of Welding Inspection standards, including AWS and/or CSWIP certification, is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality auditing principles or Auditor certification is an advantage.
- Experience in base-build piping fabrication, hook-up module fabrication, structural and piping weld inspections, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
- Hands-on experience conducting piping line walks and reinstatement inspections with the ability to accurately interpret isometric drawings.
