QA/QC Inspector (Civil)
Summary
Performs on-site civil QA/QC inspections for roads, drainage, utilities, and pipelines, documenting tests and issuing non-conformance reports.
• Inspect civil infrastructure works including earthworks, excavation, backfilling, compaction, roads, drainage systems, manholes, utilities, and pipelines.
• Verify that works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, method statements, and construction procedures.
• Witness and document material and site tests, raise IRs/MIRs/TRs, and maintain inspection records, test results, NCR logs, and quality reports.
• Identify non-conforming works, issue NCRs, and follow up corrective and preventive actions through closure.
• Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and third-party testing agencies, and support final inspections, snagging, handover, and close-out activities.
Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in roads, utilities, drainage, or large-scale infrastructure works.
• Good knowledge of civil QA/QC inspections, testing, documentation, ITPs, method statements, and NCR processes.
• Valid QA/QC-related certifications are preferred.
