QA/QC – INTERIOR FIT-OUT

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA/QC professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience in interior fit-out projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all interior finishing and fit-out works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect interior fit-out works to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor the quality of finishing works, including gypsum ceilings and partitions, painting, tiling, flooring, joinery, wooden works, doors, glass, and other interior finishes.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare Inspection Requests (IRs) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), as required.
• Ensure that materials delivered to the site comply with approved material submittals and project specifications.
• Identify defects, non-conformities, and workmanship issues and coordinate corrective actions with the site team.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, inspection reports, checklists, and quality records.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, consultants, and clients regarding quality inspections.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely closure of quality observations and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Ensure that completed works meet the required quality standards before client or consultant handover.
• Assist in preparing snagging lists, monitoring rectification works, and conducting final inspections.

Skills

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in QA/QC for interior fit-out or construction projects.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Good knowledge of interior finishing materials, installation methods, and workmanship standards.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and project specifications.
• Familiarity with QA/QC procedures, inspection checklists, ITPs, IRs, and NCRs.
• Strong attention to detail and good reporting and documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills with site teams and consultants.
• Previous experience in UAE interior fit-out projects is an advantage.
