QA/QC Manager [Data Center Construction]/ Upto $10K basic+VB/ 5days/ A1 Main Contractor/ East area

• Up to $10,000 Basic + Variable bonus
• Permanent position, New Data Center project at East area
• Experience in constructing Data Center projects preferred.
• Familiar with data centre construction quality requirements, testing and commissioning procedures, and relevant standards including ISO 9001, ANSI/TIA-942, ASHRAE thermal guidelines, Uptime Institute Tier principles, ASTM, ANSI, ACI, Singapore Standards and applicable Codes of Practice will be advantageous.
• Having ISO 9001 Auditor certification, TIA-942, Uptime Institute, commissioning, Green Mark or other relevant data centre certifications will be advantageous.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Experience in constructing Data Center projects preferred.
2. Familiar with data centre construction quality requirements, testing and commissioning procedures, and relevant standards including ISO 9001, ANSI/TIA-942, ASHRAE thermal guidelines, Uptime Institute Tier principles, ASTM, ANSI, ACI, Singapore Standards and applicable Codes of Practice will be advantageous.
3. Having ISO 9001 Auditor certification, TIA-942, Uptime Institute, commissioning, Green Mark or other relevant data centre certifications will be advantageous.

• Lead the project’s QA/QC programme and ensure all works meet contract, drawing and specification requirements.
• Develop and maintain the Project Quality Plan, inspection checklists, quality procedures and reporting system.
• Review construction documents, material submissions and inspection records for completeness and compliance.
• Conduct and coordinate site inspections for civil, architectural and M&E works.
• Ensure subcontractors understand quality requirements before starting work.
• Monitor materials, equipment and workmanship delivered to site.
• Manage defects, non-conformance reports, punch lists and corrective actions through closure.
• Chair regular quality meetings and track outstanding issues.
• Supervise QA/QC inspectors and verify that quality documentation is properly maintained.
• Work closely with the project team, consultants, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Identify quality risks early and implement preventive or corrective measures.
• Drive continuous improvement throughout construction and handover.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Civil Engineering or other related discipline.
