QA/QC Manager

Discussion

Cedar Creek is a 1,100 MW simple-cycle gas turbine power project built under a lump-sum EPC contract. As QA / QC Manager you own the owner's quality oversight: seven inspectors, one contractor, and the hold points that protect the asset for its operating life.

What you get to do:

  • Lead the owner's quality team across all disciplines.
  • Govern the contractor's quality programme, ITPs and inspection records.
  • Own the client hold point and witness point regime.
  • Drive nonconformance management and corrective action closure.
  • Review welding, examination and testing documentation.
  • Oversee vendor and shop inspection where required.

What you bring to the role:

  • 15+ years in construction quality on power or heavy industrial projects.
  • 5+ years representing an owner over an EPC contractor under a lump-sum contract.
  • Demonstrated team leadership across multiple inspection disciplines.
  • Deep command of ASME and AWS codes.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent years of field experience.

Nice to have:

  • CWI, API or equivalent certification.
  • Experience setting a hold point regime from scratch on a greenfield project.
