Summary

Performs quality assurance and control in a food manufacturing facility, inspecting materials and products, enforcing safety standards, and documenting compliance with GMP, HACCP, and regulations.

  • Inspect raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to food safety and quality procedures.
  • Conduct routine quality checks, sampling, and laboratory testing as required.
  • Verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and company quality standards.
  • Identify product defects, investigate quality issues, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and documentation.
  • Ensure sanitation and hygiene standards are consistently followed throughout the facility.
  • Support internal and external quality audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Work closely with production, warehouse, procurement, and maintenance teams to resolve quality-related concerns.
  • Monitor calibration of inspection and testing equipment.
  • Assist in developing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Train production staff on quality and food safety requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable food safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in QA/QC within the food and beverage manufacturing industry (fresh graduates may be considered for junior roles).
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, or other food safety management systems.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and quality control procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.


Preferred:
