About the Role

WEAFRI Well Services Company Limited, an oil and gas services company specialising in well intervention, well construction, pipeline maintenance, and environmental management, is seeking a qualified QA/QC Supervisor to oversee quality management systems, inspections, audits, and compliance across its assets and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with ISO 9001:2015.
• Manage corrective and preventive actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with API Q1 and Q2 requirements and relevant industry standards.
• Monitor equipment certification, calibration, and documentation.
• Oversee welding procedures, welder qualifications, and non-destructive testing (NDT/NDE).
• Coordinate QMS audits and recommend corrective actions.
• Verify material certificates, heat numbers, and Positive Material Identification (PMI).
• Manage non-conformance reports, root-cause investigations, and corrective action closeouts.
• Inspect and approve purchased products and services.
• Conduct site and vendor quality audits to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• B.Eng./B.Sc. in Engineering, Metallurgy, or Materials Science. A master's degree is an added advantage.
• At least 7 years of progressive QA/QC experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role within the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with onshore and offshore facilities, well services, and equipment manufacturing or repair.
• Practical knowledge of ASME Sections VIII and IX, ASME B31.3, API Q1 and Q2, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 29001.
• Mandatory certifications:
• ISO 9001:2015 QMS Lead Auditor / Internal Auditor (IRCA-certified).
• CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI Certified Welding Inspector.
• ASNT NDT Level II in at least two methods: MPI, DPI, UT, or RT.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, root-cause analysis, technical report writing, and communication skills.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
