The Opportunity:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable QA/QC Technician to join our pizza production team. This role is responsible for ensuring that products meet quality and safety standards throughout all stages of production. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of food safety protocols, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with production and management teams.

Position Responsibilities:
· Perform regular inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods for compliance with company specifications and regulatory standards.
· Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and ensure Food Safety Plan/FSMA compliance throughout the facility.
· Record, review, and report findings from quality checks and audits.
· Assist in the calibration and maintenance of measuring and testing equipment.
· Investigate non-conformities and work with production to resolve issues quickly and accurately.
· Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends, reporting defects, and proposing solutions.
· Verify labels, lot codes, packaging, and weights are within acceptable ranges.
· Participate in internal audits and assist with documentation during audits.
· Ensure all QA/QC logs, records, and forms are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Food Science, Biology, or related field is a plus.
· 2–4 years of experience in a food manufacturing or quality control environment preferred.
· Working knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP, GMPs, SQF or similar certification.
· PCQI certification is a plus.
· Food Safety certification is a plus.
· Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
· Comfortable standing, lifting, and moving in a cold or hot production setting.
· Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, QA tracking systems).

Schedule and Work Environment:
Full-time position: schedule includes early morning/evening shifts Monday through Friday based on production needs. Work is performed primarily on the production floor and occasionally in the office.
