Owner Operator of a utility scale solar site being built in Guayama, Puerto Rico is actively recruiting a bilingual QA/QC Technician to help oversee the EPC building the solar site. This team works Monday-Friday 10-hour shifts. This opening will be 6+ months in Puerto Rico and then transferred to another site in the domestic US.
*Scope of Responsibilities: *
Working 8–10-hour shifts Monday-Friday, the QA/QC Technician will help oversee the EPC build the site. The QA/QC Technician will help oversee different parts of the site to ensure it is built correctly. Additional responsibilities include:
* Help plan and conduct daily activities.
* Daily, monitor and record all work scopes being executed.
* Ensures daily task schedules are met to meet the project schedule.
* Interface with field technicians to ensure adequate work fronts are available to contractors.
* Inspect and ensure the quality of work performed.
* Detect deficiencies and address deficiencies in a timely and effective manner.
* Maintain complete and accurate records during inspections so they can be transferred to permanent hard copy and/or electronic files.
* Inspect the work and establish punch lists.
*Qualifications:*
· 2-10+ years of QA/QC experience in utility scale solar
· Bi-lingual in English and Spanish verbally and written.
· Any Cx experience is highly preferred.
· Available to work Monday-Friday in Puerto Rico for 6+ months
· Willing to pass a drug and background check.
*Compensation:* $35/hr.-$45/hr. + $178/Per Diem + Truck Allowance
