QA (Quality Assurance) Engineer
About the role
You'll own quality across our e-invoicing and tax platforms: building and maintaining automated test suites, testing integrations with accounting systems and ERPs, and checking that security and login flows are solid before anything reaches production.
Key responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain automated test suites (UI, API, and integration)
Test e-invoicing flows end to end: invoice creation, validation, delivery, status updates, credit notes, and error handling
Validate invoices against UAE e-invoicing rules (PINT-AE / UBL) and test edge cases such as exports, reverse charge, multi-currency, and missing buyer details
Test integrations with accounting software and ERPs (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho, Odoo, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)
Test API behavior, including authentication, webhooks, duplicate handling, and failure/retry scenarios
Test Single Sign-On (SSO) flows across applications: login, logout, sessions, token expiry, and role-based access
Run security and vulnerability testing (e.g., OWASP Top 10, authentication/authorization checks, input validation) and report findings clearly
Write clear test plans, test cases, and bug reports, and track defects through to closure
Work with developers, product, and compliance teams to catch issues early
Run regression and release testing, including performance checks where needed
