QA Specialist

The QA Specialist helps ensure the overall quality of the Zoomph platform. The role writes and executes test plans and test cases, performs manual and automated functional, regression, and integration testing across releases, and identifies, documents, and tracks defects to resolution. Working closely with engineering and product, the role catches issues before they reach customers and helps keep the product stable and reliable. This is a strong fit for a detail-oriented QA professional who wants to help raise product quality in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
Responsibilities:
Test Planning & Execution:
- Write and maintain test plans and test cases for new and existing product features.
- Perform manual functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across releases.
- Support release testing and sign-off.
Test Automation:
- Build and maintain automated tests and support CI/CD test coverage.
- Help expand automated coverage over time to reduce manual effort.
Defect Management:
- Identify, document, and track defects to resolution, and verify fixes.
- Reproduce and triage issues with engineering.
Collaboration:
- Partner with engineering and product to understand requirements and provide feedback on product quality.
- Communicate quality status and risks clearly to the team.
Job Requirements:
- 2-4 years of software QA experience, ideally with web-based SaaS applications.
- Experience writing test plans and test cases and performing manual functional and regression testing.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and defect-tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience; ISTQB certification is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
