What does the job involve?
The QA Supervisor provides the QA Manager with direct communication and support of daily department operations and activities. This person provides feedback on schedules, performance and gives input on process improvements. The QA Supervisor interacts with the department employees in training and production, providing direction and an open ear for employee comments. The QA Supervisor interacts with the other Production department Lead People in training and production.
What will my responsibilities include?
- Schedule and conduct quality courses including blueprint reading.
- Supervise and train the employees within the QA Department.
- Provide technical assistance to manufacturing to solve quality issues.
- Resolve quality issues with customers, issue RMAs, and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Develop, implement, and support processes to ensure continuous improvement in QA Department.
- Knowledge and ability to enforce the Dielectric and Centerline policies and procedures.
- Responsible for all employee reviews and disciplinary actions.
- Attend company courses and assist on project teams when asked.
- All other tasks assigned and apparent.
- Maintain quality control standards and procedures. Instruct operators when necessary.

What qualifications should I have?
- ISO 9001 or equivalent experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Mechanical Inspection, Blueprint reading, geometric tolerancing, Autocad, gauge and calibration experience, military standards, electronic gauging, receipt inspections, machining knowledge, comparometer usage, cmm experience.
- Quality ERP experience required.
- Minimum 2+ year’s supervisory experience in the Quality Field as a Technician, Inspector, or Quality Lead Person.
- Machining experience a plus.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds.
