Introduction & Summary

We are seeking 2 skilled QA Test Automation Experts with extensive experience in Swift. This role is critical for ensuring the quality of features across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Watch. The ideal candidate will excel in combining manual testing with automation techniques, executing detailed functional and user-experience testing while adhering to high standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Conduct daily functional and regression testing across iOS, macOS, watchOS, and related platforms.

• Plan, document, and execute comprehensive test cases, test plans, and strategies.

• Identify, reproduce, and report on detailed bugs and feature-related issues.

• Analyze test coverage, track progress, and communicate results effectively.

• Automate manual test cases utilizing Swift-based frameworks such as XCTest and XCUI.

• Collaborate with development and design teams to guarantee feature quality and user experience.

• Maintain a meticulous focus on detail and ensure the visual and functional quality of features.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience and strong interest in test automation, particularly using XCTest and XCUI.

• Background in manual QA testing and familiarity with structured testing methodologies.

• Proficient in Swift programming and capable of implementing automation scripts.

• Familiar with Unix/shell scripting and Python for enhancing test workflows.

• Strong emphasis on user experience, functional accuracy, and effective issue triage.

• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently in dynamic environments.

In addition to the requirement of Swift + XCUITest Automation experience, we're also looking for someone with server-side testing experience.

Here are the additional qualifications for the server-related aspect:

· Experience with test automation frameworks for API testing & backend services: including designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test suites

· Ability to validate request/response payloads, headers, authentication, and error handling

· Skilled in analyzing server logs and debugging backend issues with query parameters

· Experience in functional, regression, integration & performance testing

· Ability to work closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements

· Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

· Familiarity with contract testing for server-side systems

· Knowledge of Docker & microservices architecture (nice to have)

· Security testing knowledge (API security best practices)

Other Details

Education should include a BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience, and candidates should have approximately 3+ years of experience in QA or software testing within complex software ecosystems.

• Location: Malmö (5 days onsite weekly + a number of evening meetings).
