QA Test Engineer

• Location: Wrsaw/Łódź/Gdynia/Gdańsk - hybrid (2/3 days per week in the office)

Overview

This role requires a QA Test Engineer with robust automation skills to improve testing processes and ensure high standards of software quality. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of hands-on experience in test automation, particularly in GUI and service-based testing. This position also necessitates strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and a drive for continuous improvement in testing methodologies.

Main Responsibilities

• Implement automated test cases in coordination with developers, manual testers, product owners, and business experts.

• Reduce manual testing needs by automating both frontend and backend flows.

• Perform performance testing according to established standards using JMeter.

• Gather and manage test data needed for testing.

• Monitor, debug, and document test results effectively.

• Proactively drive improvements to automated test coverage.

Key Requirements

• General knowledge of testing principles (e.g., ISTQB Foundation level).

• 7+ years of hands-on test automation experience in GUI and service-based domains.

• Proficiency in Java coding.

• Experience with test automation solutions (e.g., Maven, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Rest-Assured, Postman).

• Fluency in using GIT.

• Experience in Non-Functional Testing, particularly with JMeter.

• Familiarity with test management tools like qTest.

• Exposure to Confluence, Jira, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins/Bamboo).

• Experience in mobile application testing and data manipulation (e.g., XML, CSV, JSON) is a plus.

• Knowledge of behavior-driven development and Gherkin is an advantage.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on manual testing experience.
