QA Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and system testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, Java, and JUnit.
• Validate frontend/UI functionality and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement reviews, and defect triage meetings.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and track issues through resolution.
• Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating and executing automated test suites.
• Perform testing across Windows and Linux environments.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and automation frameworks.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Strong experience in Manual Testing and Test Case Design.
• Hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver for automation testing.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Experience with JUnit testing framework.
• Good understanding of Frontend/UI Testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and pipelines.
• Experience in test planning, test strategy creation, and execution.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Ability to analyze requirements and create effective test scenarios.
• Strong defect management and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to PHP and Groovy scripting.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, or similar DevOps tools.
• Basic understanding of API testing and database validation.
