QA Tester (Bank)
Salary: $4,000 – $5,000 per month
About the Tester role
QA Tester role involving preparation and execution of testing, including analyses of requirements, development of test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios/cases. You will be responsible for end-to-end testing delivery for applications in collaboration with other stakeholders and interfacing systems, ensuring timely delivery of testing milestones.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and execute testing including analyses of requirements, develop test strategies, test plan, test scenarios/cases
Responsible for end-to-end testing delivery for the applications in collaboration with other stakeholders/interfacing systems
Responsible for the timely delivery of different testing milestones
Actively participate in inception, daily stand-ups and retrospective meetings and represent testing
Accurately evaluate and report test results, test progress, and product quality
Work effectively to define testable user stories, acceptance criteria, with all stakeholders
Stays abreast of QA & Testing best practice and latest available tool, frameworks and standards
Identify, mitigate and escalate testing risks and issues
About you
Experience in the field of financial/banking applications testing (i.e. Internet banking, Mobile banking)
Advanced knowledge of test methodologies and approaches
Experience of using and implementing a variety of test tools, including tools for test management / planning, defect tracking, test automation, test data management
Experience with Agile & Testing Tools like JIRA, Confluence would be an advantage
Extensive experience in designing and implementing test automation based on BDD
Experience of working on agile projects and deliveries
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
