Summary: The role of QA / Testing Engineer focuses on validating vehicle software functions, specifically through Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulation, vehicle diagnostics, and Over-the-Air (OTA) validation. This position is crucial for ensuring the integrity and performance of automotive software systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, set up, and execute automation test cases on Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test benches.

  • Verify diagnostics communications and fault-handling protocols.

  • Validate end-to-end functionality of Over-the-Air (OTA) updates.

  • Create and run complex test configurations, network simulations, and automated test scripts using Vector CANoe.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive software testing.

  • Proficiency in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.

  • Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, including UDS (ISO 14229) and CAN protocols.

  • Experience with OTA validation and testing.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Vector CANoe or similar simulation tools.

  • Experience with CAPL scripting for test automation.

  • Fluency in both English and Italian.
