Job Description:

PFB updated JD for QA with Cypress.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Engineer with over 6 years of experience in quality assurance and test automation. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cypress, Cucumber, and familiarity with Karate for API testing. You will work closely with the development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products through effective testing strategies and tools integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Cucumber.
• Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing across web applications and APIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Utilize Karate framework (where applicable) for API and service layer testing.
• Integrate and manage test cases using the XRay plugin in Jira, ensuring traceability and test management best practices.
• Participate in the CI/CD pipeline using GitHub Actions or similar tools to integrate automated tests.
• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools.
• Continuously improve testing processes and frameworks in alignment with project and organizational goals.
• Optional: Leverage Azure Cloud Services for testing and deployment processes where applicable.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in QA/testing roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cypress and Cucumber.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with Karate framework.
• Experience in using XRay for test case and test execution management within Jira.
• Proficiency with GitHub, including version control and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
