Our client is an established design-and-build company with a strong portfolio of industrial, commercial and large-scale building projects. They are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to support quality assurance and quality control throughout project execution.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures, inspection plans and quality standards across projects.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
- Review method statements, inspection & test plans (ITPs), material submissions and technical documentation.
- Coordinate inspections and testing with consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
- Identify and follow up on non-conformities, defects and corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test reports and documentation for project handover and audits.
- Attend quality meetings and coordinate with project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Monitor subcontractors' workmanship and ensure compliance with approved materials and construction methods.
- Support project teams in achieving required quality, safety and statutory standards.
- Assist with project audits, testing, commissioning and final handover documentation.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in building, industrial or design-and-build projects.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Familiar with ITP, method statements, material submissions, NCR and QA/QC documentation.
- Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
- Knowledge of Singapore building codes and regulatory requirements.
- Strong attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates with ISO 9001 / QAQC certifications will be advantageous.
OTHER INFORMATION:
- Location: North West
- Working hours: 5.5 Days
- Salary: up to S$6,000, AWS and VB(Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
