QAQC Engineer

Responsibilities
- Prepare project-specific procedures, quality plans, and conduct QA/QC audits to ensure compliance with company and client standards.
- Review and evaluate inspection reports and test results against customer specifications and quality requirements.
- Supervise QA/QC inspectors during inspection activities to maintain quality assurance standards.
- Prepare QA/QC-related documentation for tender and bidding submissions.
- Participate in progress review meetings with clients to provide updates on QA/QC matters and address any concerns.
- Liaise with senior management and clients on quality-related issues and facilitate timely resolution.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Manual and quality management procedures.
- Ensure all project activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper records of inspections, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent recognised qualification in Quality Assurance and Quality Control or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar QA/QC role, preferably in the marine, engineering, or process industry.
- Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures, standards, and documentation requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
