QAQC SUPERVISOR

Overview

As a Quality Control, you will perform quality control testing on raw materials, ready-mixed concrete, precast concrete products and reworks to ensure relevant specifications are complied with.

Responsibilities

1) Responsible for incoming / outgoing inspection of raw materials and precast concrete products and all Non-Conformance.

2) Control and monitor product and material quality during pre and post production.

3) Knowledge in Engineering or Construction drawings.

4) Establish and maintain calibration program for critical concrete and rebar testing and measuring instrument.

5) Prepare and maintain all related quality reports and records.

6) Liaise with the client, consultant, vendors, sub-contractors and other relevant parties on field / factory inspection issues pertaining to the quality issues.

7) Attend required interdepartmental meetings including providing relevant updates on the status of QC testing and to obtain and relay information which may impact the testing schedule.

8) Act as the key point of contact for testing requests and samples received internally.

9) Act as the QC representative for regulatory or third part inspections.

10) Issue QC metrics for internal tiered meetings including quarterly QC business review meetings with management.

11) Train, coach and mentor staff whilst supporting QC Training Coordinator and QC training requirements.

12) Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management and the designated manager.

Requirements

1) Minimum Diploma in Civil, Building or Construction Engineering.

2) Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in Quality management in ready-mixed concrete or precast concrete industry.

3) Able to multi-task, work independently, proactive with positive attitude.

4) Able to work shift work pattern.

5) Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

6) Knowledge of ISO 9001 will be an advantage

7) Those who do not have a Diploma but have a minimum of 5-years’ experience are welcome to apply.
