QC Analyst 1

Responsibilities:

• Perform required testing (finished product, intermediates, in-process, raw material, or environmental) in accordance with the company's methods and properly document test results.
• Perform required testing for the analysis of finished product, raw material, water, environment, or in-process samples.
• Maintain accurate, complete, legible, and concurrent records of work performed and enter the results in the laboratory notebook.
• Follow schedules and meet deadlines.
• Review test data/results for reporting and documentation accuracy.
• Communicate aberrant results to laboratory supervision immediately.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the LIMS computer system. Enter data and results into the system.
• Gain an awareness of cGMP and maintain compliance with the regulations.
• Follow company and departmental policies.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Laboratory Management and/or Group Lead.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.

• BA/BS degree in a related science (Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology) is required.
• Associate's degree plus 2 years of experience will be considered in lieu of the required Bachelor's degree.
• Entry-level is okay, but lab experience is a plus.
• Good practical knowledge of the laboratory environment.
• Understanding of safety procedures and policies.
• Time Management.
• Effective oral and written communication.
