Qc Inspector Fit-out & Joinery Factory
Summary
Inspects joinery, furniture, and construction materials at a factory to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards before shipment.
- Conduct incoming inspections of raw materials and purchased components to verify compliance with specifications.
- Perform in-process inspections during manufacturing to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Inspect finished products before dispatch to ensure they meet approved drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Verify dimensions, workmanship, finishes, and assembly quality using appropriate measuring tools and inspection equipment.
- Identify, record, and report non-conforming materials or products, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Prepare inspection reports, quality records, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Ensure compliance with approved quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and company procedures.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and warehouse teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to enhance product quality.
- Conduct final inspections prior to packaging and delivery.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and measuring equipment.
- Participate in internal audits and support external quality audits.
- Maintain accurate quality documentation and inspection records.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, ISO requirements, and health and safety
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a QC Inspector in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience in joinery, furniture manufacturing, metal fabrication, interior fit-out, or construction materials is preferred.
- Knowledge of inspection and testing procedures.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
