Summary

Inspects precision-engineered parts for quality control using manual tools and engineering drawings in a manufacturing environment.

· Perform visual and manual inspection of parts according to engineering drawings and work instructions.

· Use basic measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to inspect parts.

· Check product dimensions and appearance to ensure they meet specifications.

· Record inspection results and report any non-conforming parts to the supervisor.

· Ensure measuring instruments are in good condition before use.

· Maintain cleanliness of the inspection area and follow 5S practices.

· Follow company quality and safety procedures.

· NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or GCE 'O' Level.

· Able to read and understand basic engineering drawings.

· Able to use basic measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and micrometers.

· Good eyesight and attention to detail.

· Basic computer knowledge is an advantage.

· Responsible, willing to learn, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
