What You'll Do

You'll be the expert eye on castings, forgings, fabrications, assemblies, and machined workpieces — verifying that every part conforms to blueprints and specifications before it leaves our floor. That means reading and analyzing engineering drawings, computing unspecified dimensions, and wielding a full arsenal of precision measurement tools: CMMs, micrometers, sine bars, optical comparators, profilometers, bore gauges, and more.

You'll inspect first-run parts, lay out reference points and centerlines, dig into defective parts to find the root cause, and write clear inspection reports that keep the team informed and the process improving. When something's off, you don't just flag it — you help solve it.
