QC Inspector, Mechanical, Shifts, North #HJN

Job Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on raw materials, components, manufactured parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

• Conduct incoming, in-process, first-piece, first-article and final inspections.

• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure product conformity.

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and work instructions.

• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records and non-conformance reports.

• Identify, document and report quality defects or discrepancies for corrective action.

• Verify relevant documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with established requirements.

• Work closely with internal departments, suppliers and customers to resolve quality-related issues when required.

• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure compliance with workplace safety and quality procedures.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Minimum NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline.

• Candidates with relevant quality inspection or manufacturing experience will have an advantage.

Working Hours

• Day Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

• Night Shift: 8:30 PM – 5:30 AM

• Overtime may be required and is paid at 1.5 times the basic hourly rate.

• Shift allowance and overtime allowance are provided, where applicable.

Salary

• Up to $28000 (depending on experience)
