QC Inspector / Quality Assurance Technician

Job Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections of raw materials, components and finished products according to specifications, drawings and inspection plans.
- Conduct dimensional and visual inspections using measuring equipment such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, profile projectors and other inspection instruments.
- Record inspection results accurately and maintain relevant quality records and documentation.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming materials or products to prevent unintended use or shipment.
- Raise non-conformance reports and assist in investigating quality issues, defects and customer complaints.
- Support engineers in root-cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Perform first-piece, line and process inspections to ensure compliance with established quality requirements.
- Monitor production processes and highlight abnormalities or recurring defects to the relevant departments.
- Assist in conducting product testing, sample preparation and measurement-system verification.
- Ensure measuring and inspection equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Support internal, customer and certification audits when required.
- Participate in continuous-improvement activities to improve product quality and reduce rejection rates.
- Maintain good housekeeping and comply with the Company’s quality, safety and environmental procedures.
- Perform other quality-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, Quality Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 1–2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Fresh graduates with relevant technical qualifications may be considered.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances and product specifications.
- Familiar with basic quality tools, inspection methods and measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, SPC, MSA, 8D or problem-solving tools would be an advantage.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and documentation systems.
- Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work independently.
- Able to communicate effectively with production, engineering and other support functions.
- Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
