QC Inspector (Surface Treatment)

Job Responsibilities

● Perform final inspection of surface-treated components.

● Verify surface condition, cleanliness, discoloration, stains, scratches, dents, contamination, and workmanship defects.

● Check treatment requirements against customer drawings, specifications, and approved standards.

● Conduct visual and dimensional inspections when required.

● Identify, segregate, and label non-conforming products with clear defect descriptions and photographic evidence.

● Support Quality Engineers in investigations and corrective actions.

● Ensure inspection activities adhere to company quality policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

● Perform other tasks assigned by the superior.

Requirements

● Minimum NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related technical field.

● 1–2 years of QC inspection experience preferred, surface treatment inspection experience is an advantage.

● Familiarity with inspection tools and measuring instruments.

● Training or certification in NDT, FPI/MPI, or surface treatment is an advantage.

● Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

● Good communication skills for reporting and collaboration.

● Able to commit overtime when required.

● Willing to work in East Region, Changi North Crescent.
