QC LEAD INSPECTOR

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS Duties include but are not limited to  Inspect products (inline + Lab Testing) according to the set Quality Plan to ensure they meet customers’ specifications.  Attend job start-up and approve dispatching start-up sample for Lab. testing after performing all required inline inspection.  Fill Quality Control Inspection Report (QCIR) and prepare QC Lab Testing reports in order to document findings and safeguard records  Initiate Internal Rejections (IRs) for out of specs products, label the respective product with a “Hold” tag, relocate it to the Quarantine area, submit the IR form to QC Team Leader and update Non-Conformities Log. accordingly  Once approved by QC Unit Head, Submit Non-Conformity Report (NCR) to the concerned Section Head in order to conduct proper investigation.  Upon NCR finalization, label the Hold product with the correspondent tag (Segregate tag, Caution tag, Waste tag…) in order for the NCR outcome to be clearly visible to the concerned section.  Inspect the Re-worked goods to ensure resulting product is free of defects.  Collect samples for retention as part of the Traceability process.  Troubleshoot Lab equipment malfunctions and seek support from QC Team Leader upon need to ensure that all Lab equipment is in a good working condition.  Stamp product labels and pallet labels after verifying contents.  Coach QC Officers and Inspectors over the various inline inspection and Lab Testing techniques related to different sections (Extrusion, Printing and Cutting).  Conduct Lab testing for Trials and competitor samples and prepare Lab Testing reports.
