As a QE Automation Engineer - Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in implementing quality standards in software development and testing processes. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will leverage your technical skills and creative thinking to deliver innovative software products and solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will focus on identifying and resolving defects, optimizing performance, and enhancing user experience.

As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate complex situations, grow your personal brand, and deepen your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work while embracing ambiguity. This role requires you to respond effectively to diverse perspectives, use a broad range of tools to generate new ideas, and interpret data to inform insights and recommendations. You will uphold professional and technical standards, contributing to the overall strategy and success of the firm.

Responsibilities

- Implementing quality engineering standards in software development and testing processes
- Identifying and resolving software defects to optimize performance and enhance user experience
- Utilizing Selenium for browser automation to streamline testing procedures
- Conducting functional and compatibility testing to validate software reliability
- Designing and managing quality assurance processes to maintain software integrity
- Collaborating with teams to develop and execute test cases and protocols
- Performing user acceptance testing to confirm software meets client requirements
- Analyzing data to inform insights and recommendations for process improvement
- Managing post go-live support to address any emerging software issues
- Embracing change and adapting to evolving client needs and technological advancements

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Playwright with MCP; Tosca, Jav, Python, JavaScript / TypeScript for Playwright, Karate and/or REST Assured, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or equivalent, Git / GitHub / Bitbucket

SQL, Debugging & Analysis, Test Management, AWS, Azure or GCP

- Banking & Insurance, Pharma & Healthcare, Telecom, Media & Technology.
- Demonstrating proficiency in Selenium for browser automation
- Utilizing QA methodologies to enhance software quality
- Excelling in compatibility and performance testing
