QEHS Engineer

Summary

Implement safety management systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and conduct training in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

· Implement a comprehensive Site Safety Management System to manage risks and reduce accidents.

· Ensure strict compliance of Safety Case regime to identify, reduce and manage risks to “as low as reasonably practicable” (ALARP).

· Enforcement of safety standards in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health Act.

· Implementation of workplace safety, health and environment programs and initiatives. Maintain on-site emergency response plans and major accident prevention policies.

· Conducting training programs on workplace safety and health and inspections to ensure that all staff and/or subcontractors onsite abide by policies and standards

· Assist the company in safety related certifications and awareness such as safety audits, meetings, and execution of safety programmes

· Review of Plant’s Safety Performance to adapt to process or operational changes.

· Preparation and/or submission of safety reports and necessary audits

· To handle any adhoc duties and tasks assigned by Department Head.

Requirements:

  • 1~ 3 years of work experience in ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 or SS 651
  • Work experience in manufacturing environment.
  • Poses good communication, interpersonal and management skills.
  • Strong interest in environmental, health and safety compliance work.
