■ポジション概要

本ポジションでは、Facility Engineering機能の責任者として、施設・建屋・ユーティリティエンジニアリング組織を統括し、設備関連プロジェクトの推進や技術サービスの提供をリードいただきます。埼玉工場の設備資産を最適な状態で維持するとともに、設備のライフサイクルマネジメントや保全戦略の高度化を推進し、工場全体のメンテナンスエクセレンスの構築を担います。また、グローバルチームと連携しながら設備更新や投資計画にも携わり、生産の安定稼働・品質・安全・コストパフォーマンスの最大化に貢献いただきます。

■主な業務内容

・埼玉工場および部門戦略に基づくエンジニアリング組織の運営・推進
・施設・建屋・ユーティリティ関連プロジェクトの計画立案、実行および予算管理
・設備投資、運営費、人員計画の最適化による事業目標達成の推進
・施設・建屋・ユーティリティに関する保全、更新、修繕、品質関連業務の統括
・安全性と業務効率向上に向けた設備・プロセス改善の推進
・新製品導入や技術移管に伴うエンジニアリング支援
・国内外のステークホルダーおよびサプライヤーとの関係構築・マネジメント
・次世代リーダーの育成およびチームの専門性向上の推進

■応募要件

・ネイティブレベルの日本語力とビジネスレベルの英語力のある方

以下いずれかの経験を有する方

・製薬業界における施設エンジニアリング経験（5年以上）

・製薬企業向けの工場設備・生産設備導入プロジェクト経験（5年以上）

（ゼネコン、設備エンジニアリング会社、設備メーカー、クリーンルーム／空調関連企業 など）

■歓迎要件

・チームマネジメント経験のある方
・複数名のメンバーを直接マネジメントした経験

Job Summary
Head of Facility Engineering group leads and manages the group to provide technical services for the projects and engineering tasks, related to facility and building area. She/ He is also responsible for realizing Saitama site strategy as a member of site leadership team. She/ He is also responsible to grow Saitama employees.

Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities
• Translate the strategy, goals of Saitama site and Technical Service department into the group strategy and targets. Lead and manage the group to achieve the targets and realize the strategy.• Control and manage the resource and capability to deliver the projects, related to the facility and building engineering.
• Control and manage the OPEX, CAPEX and Head Count budget to meet the goal.
• Responsible to contribute for a saving target.
• Manage & Lead Facility Engineering and Building related projects.
• Responsible for the group to achieve following responsibilities.
- Manage and lead the engineering work for facilities and building.
- Manage and lead the maintenance, calibration and renewal work for facilities and building.
- Manage and lead repairment work for facilities and building.
- Manage and lead GxP and relevant raw execution for the facility and building.
- Manage and lead to Improve the facilities, engineering processes and equipment for a better efficiency and HSE.
- Support and lead facility and building engineering activities for technical transfers of new products.
• Grow next technical leaders and grow the group in leadership and technical skills.
• Responsible for the Saitama site strategy and KPIs comprehensively as a member of Saitama Leadership team.
• Build connection in UCB widely in both local and global for stakeholder management.
• Build good relationship with the suppliers in the market widely and manage and control them.
• Update the technical capability of the group according to the progress in technology.

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

Facility engineering and Production Line Engineering experience for 5years(total) in Pharma industry. And team management experience for 3years.

Competencies

Professional skills to manage & lead people and teams.
Leadership to coach, motivate and energize people.Have a strong Passion for achievements.
Have an established unique leadership (Authentic Leadership) style to lead the team to achieve goals.
Strong growth mindset to develop herself / himself and the team.
Strong communication skill in both Japanese and English which is enough efficient for stakeholder management.
Professional knowledge of GMP and relevant laws, especially for the process development and engineering area.
Have professional knowledge of facility engineering, building engineering, production line engineering and their development in Pharma industry. And have a top-level knowledge in the industry for at least one of the areas of them.
Business level skill in statistics.
Strong problem-solving skill and critical thinking skill.
