QIC Traveling Construction Safety Coordinator

About the Role
The Traveling Construction Safety Coordinator supports safety operations on large-scale industrial and mechanical projects across multiple states. You’ll maintain a strong field presence, conduct inspections, support training, and work with project leadership to identify and reduce jobsite risks.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and identify hazards
- Enforce OSHA, ANSI, company, and project safety requirements
- Lead toolbox talks, orientations, and safety training
- Support incident investigations and corrective actions
- Monitor PPE, safe work practices, and high-risk activities
- Review JHAs, PTPs, permits, and other safety documentation
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and compliance documentation
- Partner with Project Managers, Superintendents, Foremen, and field teams
- Support emergency preparedness and response activities
- Promote a strong safety culture across the project
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of construction, industrial, or mechanical safety experience
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction required
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and construction safety practices
- Experience conducting inspections, risk assessments, and safety training
- Strong incident investigation and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with field personnel and project leadership
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety/compliance technology
- CHST, CSP, or related safety credentials preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively
