Job Title: Quality and Automation Engineer 2
Technical Skills Must Have:
- Strong experience in Manual Testing for Web and mobile applications
- Hands-on experience in Test Automation using any test framework (eg., WebdriverIO, Selenium, etc.)
- Solid understanding of test design, execution, and defect management
- Experience working with API testing tools (e.g., Bruno, Postman, etc.)
Good to Have
- Experience with Playwright automation framework
- Knowledge of mobile testing tools/frameworks (iOS testing – XCUITest/Appium, etc.)
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Basic understanding of performance or security testing concepts
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of test suites
- Exposure to Git skills to maintain high-quality automation code
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end manual testing for iOS applications and web applications ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using WebdriverIO
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
- Identify, log, and track defects through resolution with clear documentation
- Participate in test planning, test case design, and execution activities
- Ensure test coverage across functional, regression, and integration testing
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and frameworks
- Support automation integration into CI/CD pipelines for faster releases
- Analyze test results and provide clear reporting on quality metrics and risks
- Continuously improve knowledge of testing tools, frameworks, and best practices
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)
- Hands-on experience in automation testing using Test frameworks
- Strong experience in manual testing of mobile and web applications
- Good understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle
- Experience in writing and executing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript (or any scripting language) for automation
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Good understanding of REST APIs and API testing approaches
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
