Job Summary
The Quality and Halal Roving Inspector will conduct quality audits, ensure food safety compliance, and manage Halal certification across outlets to maintain operational excellence and uphold brand standards.
Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Audits
- Conduct regular audits at outlets to verify compliance with brand standards, SOPs, and hygiene requirements
- Identify operational gaps and develop corrective action plans, then monitor and follow up on improvements
- Collaborate with Operations and R&D teams to maintain consistent product quality
- Perform mystery shopper evaluations and quality spot checks as needed
Halal Compliance & Food Safety
- Coordinate and support Halal certification processes and renewals for all outlets
- Conduct Halal compliance checks to ensure adherence to MUIS guidelines
- Monitor and document food safety practices including storage, preparation, and serving procedures
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit detailed audit reports, training records, and compliance documentation
- Track and report outlet performance on quality and training KPIs to management
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma or higher in Food Science, Hospitality, or related fields
- Minimum 2 years of experience in F&B quality assurance or operations
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, Halal compliance, and hygiene standards
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and organized to manage multiple outlets across Singapore
- Willingness to travel frequently for outlet visits
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Valid HCA Certificate (preferred but not essential)
