• In this role, you will be supporting various parts of compliance, including, OCMI, FIU & FRM Quality Assurance to help them maintain regulations and conform to company’s standards.

Role Responsibilities

• Review transaction monitoring and subpoena-related cases.
• Assess whether all required procedural steps were completed.
• Check whether case activities and decisions were appropriately documented.
• Validate the final case resolution and its coding.
• Review the case from multiple perspectives and identify potential errors.
• Record identified errors in the relevant QA checklist.
• Clearly document the reason for each identified error.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency in QA evaluations.

Role Requirements

• Experience in compliance reviews, quality assurance, audit, fraud prevention, or AML operations within a financial services environment.
• In-depth understanding of Western Union Compliance processes and systems, with demonstrated subject matter expertise in at least one Compliance or AML Operations function and the ability to learn additional processes.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) regulations and practices.
• Experience using transaction monitoring systems and tools.
• Ability to analyze transaction data, supporting documentation, and complex cases from multiple perspectives.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and process tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide clear, constructive, and evidence-based feedback.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, including experience delivering feedback and recommendations.

Salary

The monthly gross base salary range is 2,125 – 2,833 EUR. This range represents anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible for an annual variable target incentive (which may include long-term incentives, if eligible) that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies.
