Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to understand testing needs.
• Prepare and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Support automation testing activities, if required.
• Ensure adequate test coverage and maintain test documentation.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
• Work effectively in a hybrid environment, coordinating with on-site and remote teams.

Required Skills

• 35 years of hands-on experience in software testing.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with defect management tools such as Jira.
• Knowledge of regression, functional, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Basic understanding of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman is preferred.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright.
• Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and test management platforms.
• Knowledge of web and mobile application testing.
