Quality Assurance Auditor
The Opportunity:
The SPSA is seeking an organized, results-oriented, team player for the permanent position of Quality Assurance Auditor, in the Air Operations branch in La Ronge.
The position will report to the Director, Safety. The Quality Assurance Auditor will be responsible for:
- Monitoring all operational activities to ensure they are conducted at specified intervals and in accordance with applicable instructions and standards.
- Perform internal and external quality audits that meet all regulatory Air Operations requirements.
Maintain technical awareness of all aspects of the company’s maintenance activities and recommend for implementation, technical and procedural changes to improve efficiencies and ensure compliance. - Oversee, maintain, and improve the company’s quality assurance program and verify that procedures in use are functional and efficient.
- Report ongoing activities to Management and keep the company continuous improvement efforts on track
The successful candidate will have the ability to:
- Clearly and concisely perform quality assurance audits to ensure that the branch meets regulatory requirements and compliance.
- Provide information to internal and external organizations and/or individuals to ensure compliance with policies, programs and legislation.
- Provide, obtain, and/or exchange clear and accurate information in both formal and informal settings to Air Operations Management and Executive.
- Articulate and convey innovative messages to the branch.
- Analyze trends and issues, identify and develop options and solutions, and make recommendations to meet branch goals and operational needs.
- Assess the current and historical context and consider all factors when conducting audits and analysis in response to an issue.
- Work independently or collaborate as a team member with co-workers, agencies and others to consistently meet operational needs.
- Accomplish required tasks within established timeframes in an environment with diverse and conflicting workload pressures.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills and the ability to work efficiently in a technology‑driven environment.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:
The successful candidate will have a formal education in a Quality Assurance Diploma program, with at least 2 years experience in a similar auditing role. Experience in aviation is considered an asset. Candidates with a combination of education or experience in similar roles may be considered. Candidates must clearly outline where they have gained their experience and education on their cover letter and resume.
This position requires a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver’s license (or equivalent), ability to travel, and a valid criminal record check.
