Quality Assurance Automation Test Engineer - Java/Selenium/Playwright

Role & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks.

- Automate functional and regression test cases using Selenium with Java.

- Define automation standards, best practices, and coding guidelines.

- Perform code reviews and improve test automation coverage.

- Analyze application risks and define risk-based test strategies.

- Advocate for quality across the development lifecycle.

- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to QA team members.

- Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

- Perform automation testing across web and/or enterprise applications.

- Execute functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.

- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools.

- Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand application flows and edge cases.

- Participate in requirement reviews and provide early quality feedback.

- Support automation efforts using Cucumber.

- Maintain test documentation and test execution reports.

Requirements :

- BE/BTech in Computer Science, MCA, or related field.

- 6 to 12+ years of experience in API automation with Java Playwright Testing or Java Selenium.

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

- Experience in Quality Advocacy and Risk-Based Testing.
