Quality Assurance Coordinator
We're looking for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our team in Rochester, NY!
Position Overview:
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and someone who enjoys keeping things moving? The Quality & Samples Coordinator plays an important role in making sure product samples are received, organized, checked, and delivered where they need to go.
In this role, you'll work with our Quality Assurance, Sales, suppliers, and shipping partners to manage product samples from arrival through delivery. You'll also help maintain accurate records and make sure our sample areas are organized and well maintained.
This is a hands-on role that combines quality, organization, customer service, and logistics.
The Day to Day:
- Receive and organize product samples from suppliers.
- Prepare and fulfill sample requests for customers and internal teams.
- Package and ship samples, including temperature-sensitive products, following established procedures.
- Create shipping labels, documentation, and tracking information.
- Monitor and maintain sample inventory and storage areas.
- Keep sample refrigerators, freezers, and work areas clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Perform basic quality checks on incoming samples and communicate any concerns to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain accurate records of samples, shipments, and related information.
- Coordinate with Sales, Quality Assurance, suppliers, and shipping carriers to make sure sample requests are completed accurately and on time.
- Help identify and resolve issues with samples, shipments, or documentation.
- Follow company procedures related to food safety, quality, and workplace safety.
- Take on other tasks and projects that support the Quality Assurance team.

Experience & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, food production, logistics, shipping, inventory, or a similar environment is helpful but not required.
- Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lift and move sample boxes and packages as needed.
- Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments when necessary.
