We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in software testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual testing, API testing, test case design, and defect tracking.
- Analyze requirements and prepare test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Conduct API testing using Postman and validate REST APIs.
- Test web applications across browsers and mobile applications across devices.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar tools.
- Perform database validation using SQL queries.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
- Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and release checklists.
- Contribute to automation testing and continuous improvement of QA processes.
- 2–4 years of experience in software QA and testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing and test case preparation.
- Practical experience with Postman, REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP status codes.
- Familiarity with Jira or other defect-tracking tools.
- Basic SQL knowledge for database testing.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.
- Basic programming knowledge in JavaScript, Python, or Java.
- Experience testing Flutter, React Native, or other mobile applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and performance testing tools.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Must be available to work on-site from our Ahmedabad, Gujarat office.
- Should be comfortable collaborating closely with development and product teams.
- Must be able to take ownership of testing activities and meet release timelines.
